Adjudicator Training Program

Are you interested in adjudicating at music and arts festivals in Manitoba? Have you adjudicated previously but would like further guidance?

The Adjudicator Training Program is offered by Associated Manitoba Arts Festivals (AMAF) to highly qualified and experienced individuals wishing to learn and better prepare to adjudicate at AMAF member festivals. Individuals interested in being listed in the AMAF Index of Arts Specialists – which advertises adjudicator services to member festivals – must participate in and successfully complete the Adjudicator Training Program.

The Adjudicator Training Program is held on an early Friday/Saturday of November every year.  Additional dates are added if registration numbers exceed the maximum spaces available.

Submissions must be finished work, in a format suitable for distribution. Compositions will be chosen on the basis of artistic merit, suitability for festival performance, and pedagogical principles. Please indicate the appropriate festival class on your submission.

All participants will be notified of the results and will be invited to participate in a workshop at the Provincial Music and Arts Festival.
